Our MISSION

The mission of PIAFF is to actively promote and celebrate French culture and arts in the United States and the World through diverse performing arts initiatives, ranging from concerts and dance shows to cinema and comedy and theatre. We are dedicated to promoting the talent of French and Francophone artists, fostering cultural exchange, and enriching understanding and appreciation of French arts among diverse audiences.

PIAFFoundation is a non-profit organization founded by a French-American couple Anne-Lorraine and Yacin Bahi. The couple lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where they moved 25 years ago. They quickly realized that there was a need to bring  French cultural events to the US and that they could support French Artists that dreamed of touring in the US. PIAFFoundation is building a cultural bridge between the two continents and across the world by promoting shows in the 5 main life Arts: standup comedy, cinema, dance, plays and music.

PIAFFoundation, structure à but non lucratif, a pour objectif de promouvoir les artistes francophones à l’international. Fondée par Anne-Lorraine et Yacin BAHI, un couple de franco-américain vivant à San Francisco depuis 25 ans. Parallèlement à leurs activités professionnelles, il se sont rapidement aperçus de l’utilité de proposer aux artistes notamment français des relais pour se produire aux Etats-Unis (San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Miami…). Au fur et à mesure de son développement, PIAFFoundation, a étendu ses activités à l’ensemble des artistes francophones et à d’autres régions du monde. Depuis plus de 20 ans, elle accompagne des artistes comme Anne Roumanoff, Kev Adams, Gad El-Maleh, Jef Panacloque, Michel Boujenah… dans leurs tournées outre-Atlantique. Véritable pont entre la France et les Etats-Unis, PIAFFoundation participe à la diffusion de la culture francophone à travers le monde en matière de spectacles vivants, humour, cinéma, danse, théâtre, musique…
